Explanation
Bats are mammals right? Well yes. They are warm blooded mammals. Have you ever seen a bat before? I haven't but I wish to. Are they an endangered species, yes. They were almost extinct from all of us from taking over the land. That’s why they were almost extinct. How can we save the lesser short tailed bats almost from becoming extinct?
Paragraph 1 is going to be what is killing the bats.
Paragraph 2 is going to be about their habitat loss. ( their forest are cut down )
Paragraph 3 is going to be how can people help the bats.
One reason why our bat are in danger of becoming extinct is because there are predators killing them such as, rats, stoats, cats and possums those are the predators that killing them. They are easy to kill. Possums climb up trees into the roosts (nest) to eat pups.
Habitats loss
Another reason.
What is harming the bats? Predators are harming the bats because they kill them and eat them.
What’s keeping the bats Safe
Supplies food and water.
How can you help save the bats
You can help bats by doing, do not leave your cats escape, find the predators then kill them and keep them safe if you find them.
Endangered
Sadly the bats are endangered because they are almost extinct and their loss habitats.
Where they live
The tiny lesser short tailed bats live in the forest, “you know, I think so”. Well they live in the hollow trees or in a cave’s.
What they do
Bats look for food on the ground, they scuttle around to find some food like insects and seeds.
They also scuttle like a rat.
Endangered too
What is endangered too is a wood rose. When a bat is extinct the woodrose would be extinct as well. The woodrose lives on the ground, it grows on the roots, native trees and shrubs.
Well that's enough stuff I can tell you all about bats well some of it.
Afew weeks ago we have been learning about different kinds of animals but I did a bat.
