code.org

This is a post of hour of coding. This is the second post I've done about coding. In this post here you will see a certificate of mine that I have earned when I have finished all the levels. What I found hard about doing the levels is when using the right amount of blocks to controll the animated charactor.

The World

This presentation was easy and fun to make. What I found hard about doing this was finding the imformation online for my drawing to make this presentation posible. But otherwise, I got it over and done with. The reason why I chose this country is because this country was close to ours. Also, it had interested me from the fact that the abariginal culture use to make bomarangs to kill kangaroos and all the other knowladge that should be learnt.

Visiting Portia Woodman

Visiting Portia Woodman

On week 3 last Thursday, Portia Woodman came to our school. None of us has ever seen her before. We were all thrilled to see her. The shining sun shone upon the school for
her to have a warm and nice welcome to our school. It was very exciting. Portia Woodman
is one of the rugby league sevens player.

At 9:30 am on Thursday 9.8.18, Portia Woodman finally came into the library to visit our
school. When she came in I was shocked to even see her. I was so excited. Because she
is a famous rugby player, she talked to us about her years being a rugby player. With her,
she brang along her awesome medals and her team trophy. One thing she talked to us
about was how she got her medals. I remember her saying that one of her medals were
from the commonwealth games and also remembering that as a school, we watched it
together and was cheering her off. Hearing her stories, I was so inspired of what she
said and made me think that when I grow up, I can be like her. We were all listening
carefully.

When she was finished talking about her experiences in her rugby days, we had a school
photo with her. It was fun when we had a photo with her. Do you want to know why?
Because most of us got to hold her medals and trophy. But was unlucky that I didn’t
get to hold any of her medals but was lucky to see them be happy as a school. Even
though I didn’t get hold her medals, I got to shake her hand and hug her. It was nerve
racking because I kept thinking what she will say to me and if I become shy when rely
back. But my prediction was wrong, I got to talk to her and say hi. After that she had
to leave.

I was amazed seeing a famous rugby player. I was so excited to see a famous rugby
player. PORTIA WOODMAN! That day was impressive seeing heer and hearing some
of her stories about how she got her awards. Also to be seeing her trophy. We also had
an amazing time having a school photo with her. So that day forth, this would be a
memory that won’t be forgotten. Especially when it’s with Portia Woodman.
