Coopers Beach Cool Camp

WALT plan a recount that will maintain audience interest through content, humor and language choices.

To be successful we will:

• Think of a time in the holidays that was funny, scary, a bit embarrassing, exciting
• Plan the intro, main events ( and the mood we want to establish), time words and reflection.

I think I successful by using time words. What I found hard was to use good language choices.

My brothers, my sisters, my grandparents and I went on Wednesday to go to Coopers Beach Youth Camp for the holidays. I was really excited and nervous at the same time because there were heaps of my family that I didn't even know. Were on the way to Coopers, were on the way to Coopers, we happily sang. The first morning appeared and I got up. After getting change we got out to get the Kayaks to go Kayaking.How about My nervousness turned into excitement. As we got in the water it was really scary but when I paddled I actually got use to it. I kept on bumping into rocks, I tried to fight against it by doing my turn off’s and pushing myself back, the water was deep and it was really hard to know how to use a kayak because we hadn’t been taught. And my two older brothers fell off it HA, HA, HA, “I giggled. Do you know how funny it was?

A few hour later or maybe one hour later we came back to the camp and stacked the Kayaks up for later or tomorrow. After doing that a few hours went by. After a few hours we went to go on the water slide. It was very long, scary, deep and really magnificent. My nerves were getting worse and worse, I was so scared and excited at the same time but I was more scared than excited. Everyone went one by one, two by two or three by three. The first time I went on was three by three. We boosted off like a rocket and it went fast as the wind and I thought I was going to fall off, few luckily I didn’t fall off. I went a few or heaps more times than I hoped of and got myself ready for the next day and for dinner. the bell rang, Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!  I quickly rushed through the room and ran across the court and got into the hall to eat.

I won't  forget about everything I laugh at, such as my two brothers Denzel and Riva fell off the kayak and went on the water slide because it was only my face getting wet because I was in front. I won't forget those times and spending time with my family. THE END
