Thank you for your brilliant presentation about flax weaving! I really enjoyed learning about why you like weaving with flax and I think they make such wonderful gifts! My Aunt and cousin are very talented at making flax ketes and we have some displayed in our bookcase at home that they made us years ago. I think I like flax weaving because it is making use of something from our natural environment in such a creative way and can last for years and years if looked after.
I would love to learn how to make putiputi harekeke, do you think when I visit Tautoro School next year, you could teach me? Is it hard to learn?
