Wow, while I was sleeping you were busy finishing the Summer Learning Journey! What an incredible accomplishment, especially after going away for a few weeks. I hope you are very proud of yourself!
Thank you for the special message to me and the rest of the SLJ team. We have absolutely loved being a part of this journey with you and providing a fun programme for you to participate in during your summer break. Now that you have finished, we would love to see you continue to stay involved through positive, thoughtful, and helpful comments.
Here is a link to our twitter feed with all of the clusters involved from throughout New Zealand: https://sites.google.com/a/manaiakalani.org/connected-learners-share/sljtwitterfeeds Feel free to comment on any students work. You will gain 2 extra points for every comment you make, as long as it is at least 3 sentences and includes a specific detail from the post. Deciding the cluster winner last year came down to extra points from commenting and I believe it will be even harder to choose the winner this year!
Again, well done Zephaniah. You have done an excellent job! I look forward to seeing some great comments from you soon.
Congratulations on completing all 60 activities for the Summer Learning Journey 18-19 ! It is a big achievement to complete all of the activities to such a high standard like you have. I have very much enjoyed my time commenting on your blog posts this summer. I was always looking forward to seeing how you have decided to present an activity or to find out what your opinion is on a subject.
As Georgia has mentioned, last year’s cluster winner came down to the extra points! Another way to earn extra points is to post a general blog post during the Summer Learning Journey. This could be a post about your holiday adventures, How your Christmas was?, a piece of writing you have crafted over the holidays, or even a book/game review. There are lots of different things you could post about! For each quality blog post, you could earn an extra two points!
I look forward to reading your completed activities soon. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer before you head back to school. Again, Tino Pai for doing such an amazing job !
Congratulations on achieving this incredible milestone and finishing up the entire 2018-2019 Summer Learning Journey programme! I hope that you are really proud of yourself and really pleased with your accomplishment. It takes a lot of effort and a lot of hard work to get through all 60 activities and you did it! Congrats!
I know that Georgia, Georgia E and Dani will be posting lots of comments on your work over the coming weeks. We are all amazed by what you have achieved. If you have time, we would love your help in posting comments on the blogs of other students who are still working on the programme. I can see that Georgia has told you about what is needed to earn points for quality comments. It's a great way to earn lots of points and to support others in achieving their goal of completing the SLJ this year.
TUMEKE Zephaniah, Today is my first day back at work and yours is the first blog I have checked out. I am SO VERY PROUD of everything you have achieved during the Summer Learning Journey and I know all of the Kaiako at Tautoro will be too! I hope you'll follow Georgia's advice and go to the Twitter feed and leave positive, thoughtful, helpful comments on other peoples blogs to get 2 extra points per comment. I look forward to seeing you when school starts again. Enjoy the rest of your holidays. Ngā mihi Tania

Congratulations!! We have arrived at the end of the Summer Learning journey and what a great experience it has been. You have done an awesome job over the past month on keeping on top of activities and putting in so much effort into creating meaningful and fun blog posts.
My favourite post of yours was ‘Adoption Day’, because you gave me a detailed list of differences & similarities! I learnt so much from this one activity, I even went home and told my whanau the new facts I learnt about Tigers, Lions & Leopards!
The team here are extremely proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished! I really hope this year brings you happiness & joy! Best wishes for you and your whanau.
