This cathedral is New Zealand cathedral. This is also one of the famous ones. This cathedral is located
in and up North in Auckland. It was made in 1878. The Cathedral of St. Patrick is a decorated
Neo-Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral church in the United States and a prominent landmark of
New York City. The cornerstone of St. Patrick's Cathedral was laid in 1858 and her doors swept open in
1879. It was over 150 years ago when Archbishop John Hughes announced his inspired ambition to
build the “new” St. Patrick's Cathedral.

ReplyDeleteYou found a very informative piece of writing about St Patrick’s Cathedral in New York. The St Patrick’s Cathedral in Auckland was established at the same time as the cathedral in New York. It’s great to see some research about a cathedral from another country. Have you visited any cathedrals before? I know in Northland there are lots of churches with rich histories, such as Christ Church in Russell. Many of the people buried there are apart of Northland’s history!
