Week 2. Activity 7 - The Right to Vote

For this activity, let’s imagine that the government decides to create a new $10 bank note and replace Kate with a picture of a different New Zealand woman. On your blog, tell us who you think the government should put on the new $10 note. Please provide us with a picture of this amazing woman and a short explanation of why you have selected her as Kate Sheppard’s replacement.

  1. Kia ora Zephaniah! How are you doing today! I’m back! It’s Olive and it’s still windy in Auckland here today!

Thank you for your fantastic blog post! I think you’ve done a great job with this activity! I absolutely love your art and I think you’ve chosen an excellent person to appear on the ten dollar note! Whina Cooper is a very significant historical figure and I think she’s represented wonderfully by you in your artwork!

Ka pai on all your effort!

    Ngā mihi,
    Olive

  2. Kia ora Zephaniah,

Wow, I love the $10 note that you have designed! I am very impressed that you've created it without using shapes on google drawing. I have added your post to the outstanding blog posts for Kaikohekohe. You can find these here:

    Ngā mihi,
    Tayla
