Rounding You Up

This is my rounding D.L.O. I have been learning to round numbers to the nearest 10, 100, 100, whole numbers and tenths. I made this with Tuishaly and Waaka.

Last week I was learning about how important it is to read instructions properly and to look at the key in graphs.

Here are a few problems I worked on. It is important that you look at the key because it helps you with how much the coin represents.

The Great And Exciting Holiday

W.A.L.T improve writing by carefully checking our sentences and trying add descriptive language. 

My next step is to not use to many commas. I think I was successful by adding some of the descriptive language. 


The Great And Exciting Holiday

Waking up, about two O’clock in the morning, imagining things while things were happening. Waking up in the middle of the night became so tiring, I didn't even want to get out of bed. I was so unbelievably tired. It maybe exciting but it was very unusual, in fact I was full of joy. As we got into the van everyone was out of it, I mean, everyone was asleep except my papa I because obviously my papa had to keep an eye on the road and me, I was awake for no reason. Anyway we went to Hamilton for our holiday and I went with my family mostly my grandparents and my brother and sisters. It was a Friday dark and quivered night.

We arrived, and it was still dark. It was pitch black, it might even be like were in out of space. We went to our motel to check if it's okay to go in. After that we drove all the way to my uncle's house and it was so far away, just kidding it was about three km away from the motel. So we arrived at my uncle's house where my brother and sister was, also my cousins. We all said “hi” and we all hugged each other. It felt like adrenaline coming down through my body. A few hours went by and we went to our parents house. I was dieing to see them, I was like so amazed, It maybe the best day of my life.

So where here, “YAY!” I shouted, “we're here” I talked with excitement. We went inside and we hugged each other and got together as a family. After doing that we had lunch and after lunch we went to the shop to get something special. The special thing was a sunday with heaps of things inside, and guess what? we got to make our own. So we got the stuff and went to go pay for it but suddenly my dad forgot to get the money.

We went back to the house to get the money so we can by the things. We bought the things and now for the fun part, making our own sundaes.

Once we got back we made our own sundaes. I made mine and I ate it with excitement, my eyes sparkled with joy, it was scrumptious, it was deliciously good. My brain was melting down with ice-cream but mostly chocolate sauce. So we finished, and we went back to the Motel to go to sleep for the next day.

I will never forget that time having so much fun, Even though we did other things, but I just wanted to share my favorite part which was making our own sundies. it was the best. THE END
