A Holiday, but WHERE?

It was midnight, the start of a brand new day. I woke up as well as the
others. We all got ready for this adventurous trip. Do you want to know
where we went? Well, I want you to think for yourself. So all of us were
ready and headed off to the Auckland International Airport. You may be
thinking, ‘oh there going overseas’. Well, your right. Anyways, we all went
through all the capacity ways to get on the plane to a different country and
headed onto the aircraft. So we went, across the Pacific Ocean and to the
country. It was a four hour flight and it was tiring.

We arrived and it was scorching hot and everyone almost fainted. Once
again, we went through the rest of the capacity ways to get through to
the otherside. Finally we went through and after that exhausting flight,
we went to our uncle's house and had a feed. I don’t want to make you wait
any longer to guess which country we went to so, the country we went to
was AUSTRALIA!

The part of Australia we went to was Brisbone where all the theme parks
are. It might be a common country that everyone knows but it’s actually
a nice place. The city was humongous and it was worth going to. We had
the whole day to do some things and have a clear look of Brisborne. Night
had arrived and slowly we all went to sleep.

Amusingly, I woke up the whole house to quickly get ready to go to the
first theme park. The theme park we went to was Movie World. We finally
reached our destination at Movie World and I was full of cheerfulness.
We entered through the gates and I felt lucky because not everyone can
go to parks like these in Australia. However, you could clearly see all the
mountain top roller coasters and all the amazing looking shops there.

I went on the scariest ride there with my sister and you should see how
scared I was before we even went on it. Tears almost ran down my cheeks. Feeling terrified, I actually took that chance and went on the ride. Slowly
we went up, and I rapidly closed my eyes tight and held on the bars firmly.
It was scary! The roller coaster started and my sister and I were yelling
hard out until our breaths were gone. It was bumby, I kept going side to
side, leaning forward and the wind kept pushing me back. During the ride,
like half way through it, it started to be chilling. I really enjoyed that
ride except the beginning.

After that, we then headed onto other rides and went into awesome
shops. I brought some amazing souvenirs and went on the scariest
frightening rides. A few hours then, we had something to eat and headed
off back to the house before dark.

That day wasn’t even the start, we had more enjoyment coming towards
us but that trip was the best out of all of them. It was a joyful time to
spend with the family and to be able to go to those theme parks. So from
that day forward, I will never forget that most memorable time is
AUSTRALIA!

My parents always told me not to go in the forbidden forest.
They always say that over and over again until I was to understand them.
It was always boring and unentertaining inside the house.
I was the only child and had no one to play with. I couldn’t play outside
by myself. So I thought, “Why don’t I make my way into the forbi...forest,
uhh I can’t even say the word, in the...forbidden forest, finally”.
Early in the morning I made my way into the woods.

I was thinking, “This ain’t bad at all”. I kept strolling through the forbidden
forest and there I was, lost...how did I get lost so quickly. I was isolated.
I couldn’t find my way back home. “Uhh”. I moaned. “I should’ve listened
to my parents”!

Scurrying beyond the frightening forest, lost and lonely, trying to find
my way back home safe and sound. Apparently, it's not safe at all. I was
so afraid, my hair was rising, my spine was cold. Night Time had arrived and
I’m full of anxiety. All I could hear were the scattering noises of the trees
and the hissing sounds of the creatures.

Fleeing across the dark woods, dayshavoo came to mind. I kept thinking that
something or someone will come out of nowhere and eat me. Shadows of
the dark clouds used my head into thinking there's someone there. I’m so
frightened.

Speedily, I kept running and running, dodging and bumping into sharp edges,
couldn’t find my way anywhere as it was pure darkness. I stopped, and on
the corner of my eye, I could see a bridge that looked rotten and nasty.
I was thinking if I should take that chance to have a look to see if it is
the bridge to my way back home. Warroringly, I crept over and had a look.
On the other side of the bridge was pitch black, I thought I was blind.

The moonlight shone upon the corroded bridge and reflected above
the shining water, but still the end of the bridge was total darkness.
I took a step over the bridge and screech, it made a sound. Feeling
terrified, I took one more step, and eventually it wasn’t the bridge.
“Oh my gosh, what was that”? I said. I was very anxious of what was
surrounding me. It felt like someone was watching me. Then quickly,
I glimpsed everywhere to see if I can recognize anything.

Bang! “Ahh”! I screamed. A vicious, a horrifying looking beast came out
of nowhere from the other side of the bridge. As scared as I was, I
picked up a stick and before touching it, it had already been broken.
So frightened, I made a run for it.

Running past the sharp edges, the terrifying giant kept following me.
I saw a pillar of light right in front of my eyes. I thought as I was running,
“Is that what I think it is”? I swiftly went towards the light and a smirk
went on my face and there I was not safe, or sound, but at home.
Still the monster came running after me, but luckily I ran in the door
before it laid a hand on me.

I quickly dashed inside and the monster had been scared by something.
I thought, “What is it scared of”.  His hands were in front of its eyes and
promptly, it turned around and ran off. It was probably scared of the light.

Finally, I made my way back home, just not the way I expected it to be.
From that time forward, I will never ever wonder off in the woods ever
again and I’ll always listen to my parents, weather it’s boring or not.
Nevertheless, I think I’ve been frightened enough.
