Treaty Of Peace

Kia-ora world, today I will be talking about the treaty of waitangi. Again, so sorry that this is a late post but it's worth it. I thought just not long ago that I did not think of what and how I can post this DLO. It made me think the I should post this because it shows and explains about tino rangatiratanga and the treaty of waitangi. I have had a lot of post about them but this one has a true meaning with it. 

What Words

W.A.L.T know the meaning of diffrent words. These words explain what they mean, it also has a image that shows you what it looks in reality. I have put this DLO together to show you some of my spelling words on list 11. Theses words all have background information that shows and explains what the word means. This DLO might help you through a better time with doing spelling subjects.

W.A.L.T use kei a wai and kei hea te. I think I was succesful with this moari DLO by knowing the meaning of kei a wai and kei hea te. This DLO explains what it means so if you want to know, check it out. It might even help with your reo. It also explains about karanga, which if a form of speech that is a call of welcome. Epro8

Kia-ora everyone, last week we have been doing an awesome activity of Epro8. This includes education and physical action. This activity made our learning skills be included along with using our learning tools more often for 2018. These photos represents us as we have travels to Keri Keri to do this challenge and competing with other schools. To do this we had to work together as a team, we also had to build a structure of a bed for poster man to fit on. As a group, we also put together a buzzer that works and a light that works. We used all of these electronic stuff to help us get the electricity to work. At night the challenge has been over. We were all proud of our selves on doing this challenge of Epro8. It was also our first time to represent Tautoro School.

SWIMMING!

Kia-ora everyone, the past few weeks we have been practicing swimming. Why? Because all around the world people have been drowning and has been dying. It was not a good thing. Teams have put together an awesome video that shows and says why we should be practicing swimming. Watch this video because it can change your mind into practicing swimming.

Rainy Days!

Here there are photos that shows what we do on rainy days. Rainy days makes my life miserable but in fact, it can fill your water tank. I would like to present to you photos that shows awesome games we do on rainy days. The game we were playing was a game called fuse ball. It is a very physical and a practical game. I had a lot of fun. You should try it sometime. It was our first time playing as a class.

How Can You Show Your Act Of Kindness?

WALT know the meaning of what explanation writing is. Kia-ora everyone, today I will be presenting a DLO or more like a piece of writing to you about act of kindness. This is an awesome piece of writing that shows you all about why how to be kind to each other. It can help you through your times through out the year. There are also subheadings to help you know what the paragraphs are all about.

Act Of Kindness

Introduction:

Over the past few years, there has been people thinking of what  kindness does to people. If you want
to know, it will be my pleasure to explain why kindness is important.

Why Is Kindness Important?

When being kind, it will give people the right to think of others, in saying, it can bring joyfulness to
the world. Everything about kindness is possible for the community. What kindness really does to
people is, it brings out how people feel about themselves. It leads people through a way of how
everyone thinks about them and the act of how they like about you.

How Does It Work?

Kind people think and care of others right? Well, it also is a considerate thing to help or get people to
believe that they have a true, not fake, but a true personality about themselves. People will think that
they feel welcomed, warm and tender. Each and everyone of us has a bit of kindness inside which will
lead to a jubilant life. Correct? This would help you to be a better person.

Conclusion:

Kindness is a thoughtful matter of being a kind person. It can bring out how you feel about that
person and what you think inside. If your kind it can direct to a better forthcoming. So remember,
make people's life more exulting.

Do You Know The Meaning Of The Three There's/Their/They're?

This week, we had to get words and make them into a sentence. The words we used where, there, their and they're, they all sound the same but they have different meanings. That's why, I have made a DLO about it. This DLO explains how to use there, their, they're. I hope it give you a memorization of how you can use the different meaning of there, their and they're.

I will be making up sentences to show the meaning of there, their and they’re and to write three
example to explain unreal parts of a sentence.

Meaning: There is a general word to indicate

Meaning: Their is a word that belongs to

Meaning: They’re is a word that describes they are...

Example 1/There:

There going to town
There would be mistakes in tests
There can be people that are naughty

Example 2/Their:
Their heads are stuck
People make their lives hard
Their class is clean

Example 3/They’re:
They’re naughty
It looks like They’re in lalaland
They’re being good children

Extreme Bag Storage

Kia-ora guys, I know this is a late story but the past few weeks, we have been doing an activity of Epro8. This story is an explanation story, it explains how and what we have done with doing the activity of Epro8. I hope you enjoy reading it and I hope it gives you a memory on what you can do in the future.

"Extreme Bag Storage"

Introducing, Epro8. To begin with, we had done an amazing activity of Epro8. This competition gives creative and practical students like me, to get a chance to experience what it’s like to do a challenge with other competitors.

Each team had to make a structure of a chromebook or bag holder. We had to be precise about it. We got into teams of six and had to work together as a team to complete this challenge. As a group, we had to follow instructions along with getting props to build a strong bag keeping. The height had to be more than five hundred or sharp on five hundred mm. We also had an amount of time to do it.

As we have read the instructions we then planned as a team to explain what we will do to build a bag holder. We found out that triangles are more stronger than squares because squares can skew. Very interesting. Expectantly, we all had a positive feeling what was going to happen, that’s why we had planed about it. Myself and the team formed a bag hanger for practice. We also made a realistic one to show people our piece of work about what we have done together as a team. jointly as a crew, we constructed an awesome masterpiece of an extreme bag holder. It had a strong feel to it, it held more than one chromebook and it made an excellent piece of teamwork creation.

At that time, the challenge has been expired. When we had finished, we all thought that it was going to be stable and it would not drop any contents of a chromebook. It was a really good entertainment of an educational game!

What Might Your Goal Setting Be?

Kia-ora everyone, the past few weeks I have been doing my goals and been trying to achieve on it for this term. Right here, this is a goal setting for what I want to achieve this term or throughout the year. This might help you on what or how you can include on being a goal achiever.
